Documents submitted before confirmation must also be presented in their original form at pickup. Payment is made by card or bank transfer; we do not accept cash.
Return the car with the same fuel level recorded at pickup.
Premium Plus includes one additional driver free of charge; a fee applies with other protection packages.
Notify us at least five working days in advance. The EUR 75 fee includes the authorisation and required documents.
In case of an incident, contact us as soon as everyone is safe; emergencies and competent authorities always come first.

What you should know before booking

Can I rent a car without a credit card?
Yes. A credit card is not mandatory. Payment is accepted by debit card, credit card or bank transfer; Wise Cars does not accept cash.
Are zero-deposit rental options available?
Yes. A zero deposit is available for eligible cars and protection packages. The exact conditions and applicable deposit are shown before you submit the request.
In which cities can I rent a Wise Cars vehicle?
Wise Cars operates in Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest Otopeni, Timișoara, Sibiu and Craiova. Pickup details are confirmed for your selected location.
Can I return the car in another city?
Yes. You can return the car to another Wise Cars office. The relocation fee depends on the route and is displayed on the website and in your booking.
Can I drive outside Romania?
Yes, within European Union member states and with prior Wise Cars approval. Please request this at least five working days in advance. The EUR 75 fee includes the authorisation and required documents.
Do I pay when submitting the request?
Usually, no payment is required when you submit the request. If your selected period requires an advance payment, the conditions are clearly communicated before confirmation.
Is roadside assistance available?
Yes. Assistance is provided through our European partner network, according to the contractual conditions applicable to your trip.
Which documents are required?
Before confirmation, we request a driving licence and an identity card or passport to verify identity, age and driving experience and to secure the car. Original documents must be presented at pickup.
With how much fuel should I return the car?
Wise Cars uses a same-to-same fuel policy: return the car with the same fuel level recorded at pickup.
Can I add a second driver?
Yes. Premium Plus includes one additional driver free of charge. With other protection packages, the service is available for an additional fee shown in the booking.
What should I do in case of a breakdown or accident?
If everyone is safe, contact Wise Cars immediately. In a serious situation, call the emergency services and competent authorities first, then contact Wise Cars as soon as possible.
